Where it stands
As of 2 Sept 2026
Trent Bridge's public ballot opens on Wednesday 2 Sept 2026, the same day as the ECB's universal ballot window, published by Nottinghamshire in its own news article on 23 Jul 2026.
The venue has published no closing date of its own; the ECB's universal close is 23:59 on 29 Sept 2026, but Trent Bridge is already running an alternative later stage, with any remaining seats going to ballot winners from Tuesday 6 Oct 2026 rather than in the ECB's own October windows, so the venue's page is the one to trust for the close. Three member priority windows ran first, on 3 Aug 2026, 6 Aug 2026 and 12 Aug 2026.
The Test is the series opener, 18-22 June 2027. Registering interest is open and is a notification list, not an entry.
How to enter
Nottinghamshire members who joined or renewed by 12 Aug 2026 got priority access to Ashes tickets in member-only windows from 3 Aug 2026. The public ballot opens at 10:00 on 2 Sept 2026 at trentbridge.co.uk; register interest on the Trent Bridge Ashes page ahead of that ('We'll be in touch to walk you through the Ashes ballot process'). No ballot closing date is published; any remaining seats go to ballot winners from 6 Oct 2026.
Your odds
Members who join or renew before 12 August 2026 are guaranteed priority access in member-only sales windows before non-members (official wording is guaranteed priority access, not guaranteed tickets), so public-ballot leftovers are expected to be limited
Good to know
Member window dates (3, 6, 12 August 2026) are official and exact from Trent Bridge's 11 June 2026 announcement, verified 7 Jul 2026 and still standing 26 Jul 2026. Fixture dates confirmed 23 Jul 2026 (18-22 June 2027).
Public ballot opening date confirmed 29 Jul 2026 from Nottinghamshire's 23 Jul 2026 news article (opens 2 Sept 2026, remaining seats to ballot winners from 6 Oct 2026), so dates_estimated is false; closes_at stays empty because the venue has published no closing date. Debenture holders can select seats, and Nottinghamshire members and debenture holders get access ahead of the ballot.
Trent Bridge also hosts the 1st Women's Ashes T20 on 3 July 2027.
