Fans should not need insider knowledge
Getting into Wimbledon, the Masters or a World Cup final at face value is not luckier than winning the actual lottery. It is a calendar problem. Official ballots exist, they are usually free to enter, and the only real barrier is knowing when the short windows open. Organizers announce them quietly, each on their own site, each on a different schedule. So most fans find out late, then pay resale multiples for the privilege.
The Ticket Lottery is that missing calendar. We track 117 official ballots, lotteries and draws across tennis, golf, football, rugby, cricket, the Olympics and more, in one place, with alerts.
How we handle data
- Every record is verified against official sources, which are linked on every page.
- Every page shows a last-verified date. This database was last verified 7 Jul 2026.
- When an organizer has not confirmed dates yet, we project from the previous cycle and label it clearly as estimated. We never present a guess as a fact.
- When an event has no public ballot, we publish that too. Absence of a lottery is exactly what ticket scammers hope you will not know.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any event, organizer, governing body or trademark holder. Entry links always go to official sources, and entering through this site costs nothing because you do not enter through this site: you enter with the organizer, directly. If we ever add partner links (for travel, hotels or face-value resale), they will be labeled, and they will never replace or bury the free official route.
