Setup steps for Google, Apple and Outlook

Subscribing adds a live link: your calendar app checks it periodically and keeps every date current on its own. Downloading saves a one-time file instead. It will not update when a date changes, so use it only if your calendar app cannot subscribe to a web address.

Google, Apple and Outlook all refresh a subscribed calendar on their own schedule, not instantly. Google in particular typically takes somewhere between a few hours and about a day. That delay is set by the calendar app, not by us; we publish a refresh hint so compatible apps check back sooner.

The feed

What's inside

One calendar entry for every ballot's open date, close date and results date, each one linking straight back to that event's page here for the full detail: eligibility, entry cost and the official source. Dates projected from a previous cycle are marked as estimated right in the event title, so you can see at a glance which ones are confirmed.

Just one event

Only care about one ballot?

You do not have to take the whole list. Every event page has its own subscribe and download links for that event alone, so you can add just the ballots you actually care about.

Questions people ask

Does the calendar cost anything?

No, and it never will. The calendar is free, and it is never going to sit behind a signup form or a paywall.

Do you see my email address or who has subscribed?

No. There is no signup step and no account. Your calendar app fetches the feed file directly from our server on its own schedule, the same way it fetches any other web page, and we keep no subscriber list because there is nothing to keep.

How often does it update?

Whenever your calendar app checks back in. Most apps refetch a subscribed calendar automatically, typically every few hours to about a day, and we publish a refresh hint asking compatible apps to check roughly every 12 hours. A date we change on our end shows up the next time your app refreshes, not instantly.

Can I subscribe to just one event instead of the whole list?

Yes. Every event page has its own subscribe and download links for that event alone, so you can add just the ballots you care about instead of the full calendar.
