THE PRESALE PURCHASE WINDOW CLOSED 31 Jul 2026 16:00 PT, and a slot that went unused was not reissued.

Anyone not selected for the presale was entered into the Drop 2 draw automatically; that draw's purchase slots ran 10 Aug 2026 to 20 Aug 2026, and la28.org (re-checked 23 Aug 2026) now calls Drop 2 the final general public ticket drop of 2026. Registration closed 22 Jul 2026 and every 2026 draw is shut to new entries.

The next Olympic ticket opportunity is first-come first-served sales starting in 2027, with no draw and no purchase caps, plus LA28's first Paralympic ticket drop; neither has a published date yet. Only fans who received a slot were emailed for either 2026 round: no rejection notice was sent, so silence after a round closed was not a decision.

A slot was the right to buy, not tickets in hand; it was time-limited; a qualifying Visa card was the only accepted payment method during the presale; and taking a Visa presale slot made a fan ineligible for a Drop 2 slot.

Register for the LA28 Ticket Draw at tickets.la28.org (or log in if already registered) and opt in by checking the Visa cardholder certification box before 22 Jul 2026 23:59 PT. Entry period ran from 10 Jun 2026 10:00 PT. Winners are randomly selected and notified by email with an assigned time slot.

Your odds

Winners selected at random; odds depend on total Visa Draw participants and available time slots. Winning only grants the opportunity to purchase (subject to availability) up to the standard ticket limits. Fans who receive a Visa Presale slot are not eligible for a Drop 2 slot.
