Drop 2 time slot notifications went out 6 Aug 2026 to 07, and Drop 2 purchase slots ran 10 Aug 2026 to 20 Aug 2026. LA28's own ticketing page (la28.org/en/ticketing.html, re-checked 23 Aug 2026) now calls Drop 2 the final general public ticket drop of 2026.

The Visa presale that ran ahead of this draw finished 31 Jul 2026, and anyone not selected for it was entered into this draw automatically. No further 2026 ticket draws are planned: LA28 says Olympic tickets go on sale first-come first-served starting in 2027, with no draw and no purchase caps, alongside a first Paralympic ticket drop; neither has a published date yet.

How to enter

Create an LA28 ID account and register for the LA28 Ticket Draw at tickets.la28.org before 22 Jul 2026 23:59 PT. Fans already registered (e.g. for Drop 1) are automatically entered into the Drop 2 draw and all subsequent draws until they hit ticket maximums. Selected fans get an emailed random time slot to buy tickets during the drop window.

LA28 said on 29 Jul 2026 that registration had climbed to 12 million fans from over 200 countries and all 50 US states (up from more than 5 million in February 2026), and that Drop 1 put 4M+ tickets in fans' hands, so selection is not guaranteed. That 12 million is a cumulative registration total across every draw, not a per-drop figure, and LA28 has never published how many time slots a drop issues, so no selection rate is derivable from it. Odds depend on registrants vs available time slots. A time slot does not guarantee inventory for a specific session. Visa Presale winners are excluded from receiving a Drop 2 slot. Ticket limits: up to 12 Olympic tickets plus up to 12 additional football (soccer) tickets, max 4 per ceremony.
