The application window runs 1 Sept 2026 to 14 Sept 2026 at 23:59 BST; the system states there is no benefit to applying early, since every entry submitted within the window has an equal chance. Successful applicants are emailed an offer with payment instructions from October 2026 onwards.

Your odds

AELTC publishes no official odds; press guides estimate roughly 1 in 10 applicants succeed. Unsuccessful applicants get access to returns/resale ticket opportunities before the event.

Good to know

The public ballot for 2027 runs 1 Sept 2026 to 14 Sept 2026 per the AELTC's Help Centre, a shorter window than the 2026 cycle's, which ran 2 to 21 September 2025 per the same Help Centre. Ballot is random, supervised, and the only free public route to reserved seats besides The Queue (on the day) and debentures (paid).

A separate free Wheelchair Ballot runs on a similar September window for accessible seating. See separate record for the LTA membership ballot.
