Where it stands

As of 28 Sept 2026

UEFA's Executive Committee confirmed OL Stadium in Lyon-Decines as the 2028 host on 15 Sept 2026, at its meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece; the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff was appointed for 2029.

UEFA has not announced a ticket application window for this final; based on the 2026 cycle it is expected around March-April 2028 on uefa.com/tickets.

How to enter

Apply free at UEFA.com/tickets during the application window (expected mid-March 2028; the 2026 women's final window ran longer, until 1 April); general-public tickets sold exclusively on UEFA.com via post-window lottery; winners pay by card in a limited purchase window

Your odds

2026 mirror (Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo, 24,700): 20,000 tickets to fans/general public with only 2,500 per finalist club, so the general-public share is very large; historically far less oversubscribed than the men's finals and success odds are good, especially in cheaper categories

Good to know

Host confirmed by the UEFA Executive Committee on 15 Sept 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece: OL Stadium, Lyon-Decines for 2028, National Stadium of Wales, Cardiff for 2029 (uefa.com, '2028 and 2029 Women's Champions League finals to be played in Lyon and Cardiff'). Ballot dates are estimated from the 2026 cycle: the window opened around 16 March 2026 and closed 11:00 CEST on 1 April 2026 for the women's final (the estimated 2028 close shown here uses the equivalent late-March weekday and could run into early April).

The 2027 final (National Stadium, Warsaw) follows the same pattern. Recheck around February-March 2028 for the ticket launch.
