Where it stands

As of 12 Oct 2026

No ticket has gone on sale yet and no ballot has been confirmed, but FIFA has now published a timeframe.

Its own Brazil 2027 ticketing FAQ portal states that tickets will go on sale towards the end of 2026, that there will be multiple opportunities to buy across several sales phases, and that all tickets will be sold exclusively through FIFA.com/tickets. The same answer warns that each sales phase may use a different purchasing process, which is the wording FIFA uses when some phases are random-selection draws and others are first-come, so the mechanism for any individual phase is still unstated.

Until a phase opens, the only action available is joining the free waiting list on the official tickets page, for tickets or for hospitality. The tournament runs 24 Jun 2027 to 25 Jul 2027 and the match schedule is still to be announced.

How to enter

Register interest free on the official tickets page at fifa.com (tickets and hospitality are separate sign-ups); FIFA says it will announce sales phases in due course and that all tickets will be sold exclusively through FIFA.com/tickets. Do not buy anywhere else. FIFA runs a dedicated ticketing FAQ portal for this tournament at gpcustomersupportfwwc2027.tickets.fifa.com, which is where phase dates and the purchasing process for each phase are expected to appear first.

Your odds

Not applicable yet. If FIFA repeats the WC26 model (free-entry draws), expect heavy oversubscription for knockout matches and Rio/Sao Paulo.

Good to know

Sales model (draw vs first-come first-served) not yet known. Precedents: FIFA World Cup 2026 sales opened about 9 months out (Visa Presale Draw entries 10-19 Sep 2025, then Early Ticket Draw and Random Selection Draw); FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 sales opened about 9-10 months out (Oct 2022, first-come first-served).

That puts the first 2027 sales phase around Q4 2026 to Q1 2027, which is an inference from those precedents rather than an official FIFA date. Verified via FIFA's own content API (cxm-api.fifa.com) because fifa.com is a JS app: tickets page is a register-interest hero banner (campaign ROIFWWC27); 'Everything you need to know' article (updated 1 Jul 2025 onward) says schedule 'will be announced at a later date'.

Tournament: 32 teams, first Women's World Cup in South America.
