Re-confirmed on theopen.com/ticket-ballot this run: the page now reads 'The Ticket Ballot has now closed. Thank you to everyone who applied for tickets to The 155th Open at St Andrews.' Results are released in waves throughout August and September 2026, with every applicant emailed a final outcome by the end of September 2026; successful applicants get an email invitation to purchase and then up to seven days to pay, and those unsuccessful in earlier waves stay in for later releases.

Entry was free with One Club membership required, up to four tickets per day.

How to enter

Join or sign in to One Club, then submit a ballot application at theopen.com/ticket-ballot selecting desired days before 15:00 BST on 24 Jul 2026. Applications can be fully successful, partially successful or unsuccessful.
