Successful applicants had until 16:00 BST on 31 Jul 2026 to confirm their details and pay, so a place not confirmed by then was lost. Re-verified 1 Aug 2026 against the official ballot page, which still reads that all 2027 ballot results have been sent out and still quotes that 31 July deadline verbatim; the organiser has not yet rewritten it into the past.

Runners who had not received a result by 09:00 BST on 10 Jul 2026 were told to contact the organiser. Ballot ran 24 Apr 2026 to 1 May 2026 (16:00 BST).

Remaining 2027 routes are charity, Good for Age and club places; nothing in the ballot itself remains open.

The 2027 ballot has closed (entered online at londonmarathonevents.co.uk). Remaining 2027 routes: charity places, Good for Age, club places. The 2028 ballot is expected to open after the 2027 race weekend
