When are the Ryder Cup 2027 ballot results?

When exactly do the results land?

Nobody outside Ryder Cup Europe knows the day. The live ticket page gives no date at all, saying only that applicants will be emailed once the ballot has been completed. The official ballot terms and conditions PDF (last amended 1 June 2026) is the only document that puts a window on it, and it anticipates the end of July 2026. Treat that as an expectation rather than a promise: organisers routinely miss their own anticipated windows, and the page not naming a date is itself a sign the schedule is not locked.

Everyone who applied gets an email either way, so silence is not a bad sign on its own. It just means the notification run has not happened.

What happens if I am drawn?

Your card is charged automatically. The application was submitted as an "Enter Ballot with Obligation to Pay", which means a successful entry is not an invitation to buy, it is a purchase that completes itself. That is unusual among the ballots we track and it is the single most important thing to understand about this one: if you applied for four tickets across three days and you are drawn for all of them, that charge is coming.

If you are not drawn, nothing is charged.

The cancellation window is also gone. Applicants could withdraw until 23:59 BST on 13 July 2026; after that, applications became irrevocable offers to purchase.

What do the tickets cost?

Face value, by day, in euro:

• Match days, Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September 2027: EUR 499 per daily ticket
• Opening ceremony day, Thursday 16 September 2027: from EUR 179
• Practice days, Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 September 2027: from EUR 89
• Under-16s on practice days: EUR 20 to 30

Premium hospitality (The Green Ticket+, the Samuel Ryder Club, the Captain's Club) is sold separately at considerably higher price points and was never part of the ballot.

How competitive was this ballot?

Very. The earlier priority window for Ireland residents opened at 11:00 on 24 April 2026 with more than 150,000 people pre-registered, online queues reported at up to 60,000, and it sold out in under an hour. The global public ballot that followed used random allocation, and the official terms acknowledge oversubscription outright. Ryder Cup Europe has not published an application count or a success rate, and any specific odds figure you see quoted for this ballot is someone's guess.

Entry rules were one ballot entry per applicant (the latest submission counted if you entered twice), applicants had to be 18 or over with a registered rydercup.com ticket account, and you could request up to four tickets per day across multiple days in a single application.

I was not drawn. What is left?

One official route is announced but not yet dated: a SuperValu Community Day release of thousands of Tuesday practice-day tickets. Details had still not been published as of 22 July 2026, so the honest advice is to keep an eye on rydercup.com rather than a date in your calendar.

Beyond that, no further general admission public sale has been announced. Premium hospitality is still on sale with limited availability, at prices well above general admission. There is no official face-value resale platform for this event, which makes the secondary market the only other option and an unprotected one: Ryder Cup Europe does not stand behind tickets bought there.

When is the 2027 Ryder Cup?

13 to 19 September 2027 at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland. Practice days are Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 September, the opening ceremony is Thursday 16 September, and the three match days run Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September. It is the first Ryder Cup held in Ireland since the K Club in 2006.
