The guide
How do I get Masters 2027 tickets?
The only official route to Masters tickets is the free application on masters.com, and for the 2027 tournament it already closed: the window ran 1 to 20 June 2026. If you applied, the only thing left to do is wait. Results go out by email in late July 2026, whether you were selected or not.

The 2027 application window has closed. The event page tracks results notifications, payment deadlines, and the 2028 cycle as it opens.
How did the 2027 Masters application work?
You needed a masters.com account, a permanent residential address (no PO boxes, student, or business addresses), the last 4 digits of your Social Security number or Social Insurance Number, a personal credit or debit card billing to that address, and you had to be 21 or older. One application per household. You could request up to 4 tickets a day for Monday to Wednesday practice rounds and up to 2 a day for the Thursday to Sunday tournament rounds, and you could apply for every day, but if selected you're only awarded one day, chosen for you. Applying itself was free; you only pay if you're picked.
When do I find out if I got tickets?
By email in late July 2026, according to the official application terms. Everyone who applied is notified, successful or not, so silence isn't a bad sign on its own, it just means the notification hasn't gone out yet. Selection happens in two phases: Daily Tournament tickets (Thursday to Sunday) are awarded first, immediately followed by Practice Round selection (Monday to Wednesday) for everyone not already picked for a tournament day. If you're selected, you have until 7 August 2026 to pay or your tickets are forfeited.
What do Masters tickets actually cost?
Nothing to apply. If selected, you pay face value: $125 a day for Monday and Tuesday practice rounds, $150 for Wednesday (which includes the Par 3 Contest), and $160 a day for the Thursday through Sunday tournament rounds. That's the full price; there's no separate application fee.
Practice rounds vs tournament days: which is realistic?
Augusta National has never published the actual odds. Media coverage commonly estimates the chances of being selected at low single digits as a percentage, and practice rounds are generally considered somewhat easier to get than tournament days simply because more tickets are available across more days. Either way, treat any specific odds number you see online as an estimate, not an official figure. The tournament itself runs 5 to 11 April 2027 at Augusta National Golf Club, with the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday 7 April and the four championship rounds Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 April.
I didn't get selected. What are my options?
There's no official waitlist or guaranteed resale channel. masters.com tells unsuccessful applicants to check back on the site for information on the next cycle. Based on the pattern of previous years (not yet officially confirmed for this specific date), the 2028 application is expected to open around 1 June 2027, following the same annual June 1-20 window. The tickets.masters.com system already shows accounts being prepared for the 2028 process, which is one signal, though not a confirmed opening date.
What should I avoid?
Augusta National states plainly that it is the only authorized source for Masters tickets and warns against buying from third-party or unofficial resale sites. An unofficial ticket carries real risk: it can be void, wildly overpriced, or simply never delivered, with no recourse through the tournament itself. If you didn't get picked in the application, the honest options are trying again next cycle or, if you choose to buy secondary tickets, going in aware that Augusta National doesn't stand behind that market at all.
Quick answers
▸Is the Masters ticket application free to enter?
Yes. Applying costs nothing. You only pay if you're selected, and only at face value: $125 a day for Monday and Tuesday practice rounds, $150 for Wednesday (which includes the Par 3 Contest), and $160 a day for the Thursday to Sunday tournament rounds.
▸When will I know if I got Masters 2027 tickets?
By email in late July 2026. Everyone who applied hears back, whether selected or not. If you're selected, payment is due by 7 August 2026 or the tickets are forfeited.
▸What are my odds of getting picked?
Augusta National doesn't publish the odds. Demand far outstrips supply, and media estimates commonly put your chances in the low single digits as a percentage, a bit better for practice rounds than tournament days.
▸I wasn't selected. What now?
There's no official resale or waitlist route. The next chance is the 2028 application, expected to open 1 June 2027 on the same annual pattern, though that window isn't officially confirmed yet. masters.com tells unsuccessful applicants to check back for 2028 details.
▸Should I buy from a resale site instead?
Augusta National says it is the only authorized source for Masters tickets and warns against third-party sellers. Unofficial resale tickets carry real risk of being void or overpriced with no guarantee they're genuine.
