How tickets actually work

No ballot: the 2026 game sold first come, first served through Ticketmaster Australia (ticketmaster.com.au/NFL, My Ticketmaster account). Sale phases ran: Amex presale 1 Apr 2026 09:00 AEDT; MCC members presale 1 Apr 2026 10:00 AEDT; Sportsnet Holidays ticket+hotel packages 6 Apr 2026 10:00 AEST; hospitality 7 Apr 2026 10:00 AEST; general public on-sale 8 Apr 2026 10:00 AEST.

Your odds

No ballot: access depended on queue position at each timed on-sale. The MCG holds roughly 100,000, the largest venue on the 2026 international slate, so supply was far larger than at the European games.

Good to know

First NFL regular-season game in Australia. Despite the MCG/Ticketek ballot tradition for other MCG events, the NFL used Ticketmaster Australia with straight first-come-first-served timed on-sales, no random draw.

An earlier register-of-interest (NFL Melbourne ROI email signup, open since the Oct 2024 announcement) provided updates/presale alerts only, not a ballot. All tickets were mobile-only via the Ticketmaster app.

Multi-year Victoria deal: a 2027 Melbourne game is also confirmed
