Good to know
The host and the date are official. MLB announced on 1 Aug 2025, with Commissioner Manfred at Wrigley Field, that the 2027 All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday 13 Jul 2027, with All-Star Week running 9 Jul 2027 to 13 Jul 2027.
It is the fourth All-Star Game at Wrigley, after 1947, 1962 and 1990. MLB does run a free ballot-style route around the game, the All-Star Week Ticket Strip Purchase Opportunity: free registration and a random drawing, set out on MLB.com's own terms and conditions page for the 2026 edition and in MLB.com news items for earlier ones.
Whether it returns for 2027, and on what dates, has not been announced: mlb.com/all-star/tickets says only that All-Star Week details will be announced in 2027, which is why this page lists the ballot as unconfirmed rather than as running or absent.
