Where it stands

As of 12 Oct 2026

No event and no ballot.

RideLondon was placed on indefinite pause in February 2026 after a strategic review, and the official London Marathon Events page, re-read 22 Sept 2026, still carries that announcement with no return date and no 2026 or 2027 edition planned. The page's live events are the other London Marathon Events properties, not RideLondon.

How tickets actually work

n/a: RideLondon is on indefinite pause with no entry route for 2026 or 2027.

Good to know

Official London Marathon Events page states RideLondon 'has been placed on an indefinite pause following operational and financial considerations' after a strategic review (announcement covered in media on February 10-11, 2026) and 'will not continue in its current format'. The last edition was May 26, 2024; the 2025 event had already been cancelled.

Historical context: the RideLondon 100 used a public ballot in the Surrey era (2013-2019) and the 2022-2023 Essex era, but the 2024 edition switched to first-come-first-served entry, so even before the pause there was no ballot. Any future revival could have a different format, route or organiser model; monitor londonmarathonevents.co.uk.
