Yes, and general admission has sold out. Ryder Cup Europe announced on 31 July 2026 that general admission tickets for Adare Manor sold out at the conclusion of the ballot, and that fans successful in the ballot were informed over the previous seven days. So notification emails ran roughly from 24 to 31 July 2026, and if you applied and no email arrived, you were not drawn. The ballot itself had closed at 23:59 BST on 29 June 2026. Demand was extreme: the organiser said it could have sold its general admission allocation more than 12 times over. Verified against rydercup.com on 2 August 2026.

## How do I know whether I got tickets?

By email, and the emails have already gone. Ryder Cup Europe's announcement on 31 July 2026 says successful applicants were informed over the seven days before it, so the notification run is finished. There is no results portal and no list to check: if nothing arrived in that window, including in your spam folder, your application was not successful.

One detail worth checking before you conclude anything: a successful entry charges your card automatically, so your bank statement is the second place to look. An unexpected charge from Ryder Cup Europe in late July is a win you may have missed the email for.

Note that the organiser's own ticket-information page has not caught up with its own newsroom. Read on 2 August 2026 it still says only that the ballot has closed and that applicants will be contacted, with no mention of the results or the sell-out. The announcement is on the rydercup.com news feed, which is where this guide takes it from.

## What happened if you were drawn?

Your card was charged automatically. The application was submitted as an "Enter Ballot with Obligation to Pay", which means a successful entry was not an invitation to buy, it was a purchase that completed itself. That is unusual among the ballots we track and it is the single most important thing to understand about this one: an applicant drawn for four tickets across three days was charged for all of them without a further confirmation step.

If you were not drawn, nothing was charged.

The cancellation window is also gone. Applicants could withdraw until 23:59 BST on 13 July 2026; after that, applications became irrevocable offers to purchase.

## What do the tickets cost?

Face value, by day, in euro:

- Match days, Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September 2027: EUR 499 per daily ticket
- Opening ceremony day, Thursday 16 September 2027: from EUR 179
- Practice days, Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 September 2027: from EUR 89
- Under-16s on practice days: EUR 20 to 30

Premium hospitality (The Green Ticket+, the Samuel Ryder Club, the Captain's Club) is sold separately at considerably higher price points and was never part of the ballot.

## How competitive was this ballot?

Extremely, and there is now an official figure for it. Announcing the sell-out on 31 July 2026, Ryder Cup Europe said it could have sold out its general admission tickets more than 12 times over, which puts demand at roughly twelve times the available allocation. That is the closest thing to an odds number this ballot has produced, though it is a demand ratio rather than a published success rate.

The earlier priority window for Ireland residents opened at 11:00 on 24 April 2026 with more than 150,000 people pre-registered, online queues reported at up to 60,000, and it sold out in under an hour. The global public ballot that followed used random allocation. Ryder Cup Europe has not published an application count or a per-applicant success rate. Following the allocation, it said spectators will come from 80 countries, with the island of Ireland accounting for 34 per cent of them.

Entry rules were one ballot entry per applicant (the latest submission counted if you entered twice), applicants had to be 18 or over with a registered rydercup.com ticket account, and you could request up to four tickets per day across multiple days in a single application.

## I was not drawn. What is left?

Nothing free, and nothing you can enter. General admission is gone and no second ballot has been announced.

One official route is announced but still not dated: a SuperValu Community Day release of thousands of Tuesday practice-day tickets for island of Ireland residents. No date had been published as of 2 August 2026, so the honest advice is to watch rydercup.com rather than put a date in your calendar. This is the only remaining route that sells at ordinary prices.

Beyond that, Ryder Cup Europe points to travel-inclusive packages and a limited number of Premium Experiences, both sold at prices well above general admission and neither part of the ballot. There is no official face-value resale platform for this event, which makes the secondary market the only other option and an unprotected one: Ryder Cup Europe does not stand behind tickets bought there, and at twelve times oversubscription this is exactly the demand gap that scam listings target.

If you are looking further ahead, the 2029 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine has an official interest-registration form live now. The United States hosted the 2025 edition using a free random selection process, so a similar draw is plausible for 2029, but the PGA of America has announced nothing yet. Our [Ryder Cup 2029 record](https://theticketlottery.com/ballots/ryder-cup-2029) tracks it.

## When is the 2027 Ryder Cup?

13 to 19 September 2027 at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland. Practice days are Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 September, the opening ceremony is Thursday 16 September, and the three match days run Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September. It is the first Ryder Cup held in Ireland since the K Club in 2006.

## Quick answers

**Are the 2027 Ryder Cup ballot results out?**

Yes. Ryder Cup Europe announced on 31 July 2026 that general admission tickets sold out at the conclusion of the ballot, and that fans successful in the ballot were informed over the previous seven days. Notifications went by email, so if you applied and never received one, you were not successful. No single results day was ever published in advance.

**Was the ballot free to enter?**

Entering cost nothing, but it was an 'Enter Ballot with Obligation to Pay' application. If you are drawn, your card is charged automatically for the tickets allocated. Nothing is charged if you are not drawn.

**Can I still cancel my application?**

No. The applicant cancellation window closed at 23:59 BST on 13 July 2026, so applications are now irrevocable offers to purchase.

**What do 2027 Ryder Cup tickets cost?**

General admission is EUR 499 per day for the three match days (17 to 19 September 2027), from EUR 179 for opening ceremony day (16 September), and from EUR 89 for the practice days (14 and 15 September). Under-16s are EUR 20 to 30 on practice days.

**Is there another chance now that general admission has sold out?**

Nothing you can enter. One official route is announced but not yet dated: a SuperValu Community Day release of thousands of Tuesday practice-day tickets for island of Ireland residents. Beyond that, Ryder Cup Europe lists travel-inclusive packages and a limited number of Premium Experiences, both far above general admission prices. No further general admission public sale and no second ballot have been announced.
