## Where it stands

No ballot. Dates and site are official (announced by the NFL on 2026-06-25: April 29 to May 1, 2027, a free three-day event on the National Mall). Free OnePass registration for the 2027 draft has not opened. Checked 2026-08-31: the NFL's own nfl.com/draftaccess link redirects to the registration page for the April 2026 Pittsburgh draft, which has already been played, so there is nothing live to register for. For the 2026 Pittsburgh draft, registration opened in the months before the event.

## How tickets actually work

When registration opens for 2027, register free at NFL.com/draftaccess (NFL OnePass app / NFL.com/onepass). As of 2026-08-31 that link still redirects to the April 2026 draft's registration page, so ignore what it shows until the NFL repoints it; 2027-specific access details have not been published.

## Your odds

Registration is not competitive (large outdoor capacity, first come on the day). The seated Draft Theater is invite-only (club allocations); in 2026 the NFL said fans 'will have an opportunity to be selected' for standing room and backfill seating as seats free up, usually Friday/Saturday only - a limited on-site selection, not an advance public lottery.
