## Where it stands

The ECB publishes one set of universal ballot dates for the whole 2027 England home summer: the ballot opens at 10:00 on 2026-09-02 and closes at 23:59 on 2026-09-29. Its own footnote matters as much as the dates: these are universal dates and some host counties and venues will run alternative ballot dates, so the venue's own page is the final word for that Test. Access runs through the host county's ticketing site as well as the ECB's own international ticketing pages, so this is a shared timetable rather than one central queue. County club membership at the host venue gives the earliest access of all, and free We Are England Cricket Supporters sign-up carries a separate priority window before the ballot results are known. That window is worked on the host county's own ticketing site, through a dedicated link or a code the ECB emails before it opens, and the ECB sends those details only to supporters opted in to receive its ticketing marketing, so the free sign-up on its own does not get you in. The ECB says some host counties and venues run priority windows that let certain members buy without entering the ballot at all, and neither route guarantees a ticket. Ballot winners buy in assigned windows, 2026-10-01 to 2026-10-05 and 2026-10-07 to 2026-10-13, and remaining tickets go on general sale from 10:00 on 2026-10-14. The 2027 home fixture list covers three Ashes series (men's, women's and a men's Ashes-branded summer) plus Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. Men's Ashes Tests: Trent Bridge 18-22 June, Lord's 30 June to 4 July, Edgbaston 8-12 July, Utilita Bowl 21-25 July, Kia Oval 29 July to 2 August 2027. The Women's Ashes Test is at Headingley 24-27 June 2027. Two of the five men's Ashes venues have published exact public ballot windows: Edgbaston opens 10:00 on 2026-09-02 and closes at midnight on 2026-09-29, and Trent Bridge opens 2026-09-02 with remaining seats going to ballot winners from 2026-10-06. Lord's, the Kia Oval and the Utilita Bowl have not yet published ballot dates.

## How to enter

Enter between 10:00 on 2026-09-02 and 23:59 on 2026-09-29, free, through the host venue's ticketing pages or the ECB's international ticketing pages. Check the venue's own site as well: the ECB states some counties and venues run alternative ballot dates. Register interest at ecb.co.uk/tickets/2027 and sign up free to We Are England Cricket Supporters at ecb.co.uk for its priority window, opting in to England Cricket ticketing marketing as you sign up: the ECB emails the priority window details, and the link or code you buy through, only to opted-in supporters. County membership at the host venue is the earliest access of all. Remaining tickets go on general sale from 10:00 on 2026-10-14.

## Your odds

Randomised draw. Ashes summers are the most oversubscribed in English cricket; ECB reported record demand for England Women and 'unprecedented sales for England Men during the ballot' even for the 2026 non-Ashes summer, with venues selling out

## Good to know

- One timetable, several front doors. The ballot runs 10:00 on 2026-09-02 to 23:59 on 2026-09-29 and is reached through the host county's ticketing pages or the ECB's own international ticketing pages.
- The ECB's own caveat is part of the answer: these are universal dates and some host counties and venues run alternative ballot dates. Check the venue page for the fixture you want before relying on them.
- Signing up to We Are England Cricket Supporters is free and carries a dedicated priority window during the ballot at counties that run one. You work that window on the host county's own ticketing site, through a dedicated link or a code the ECB emails before the window opens. It is the cheapest real advantage available and it still guarantees nothing.
- The free sign-up on its own is not enough to get that email. The ECB says details of the priority window are shared by email only with supporters opted in to receive ticketing marketing from England Cricket, so tick that opt-in when you register, and opt in to your chosen host venue's emails too, because venues send their own priority window details the same way.
- County club membership at the host venue is the earliest access of all, and it is a paid route that buys a window rather than a ticket.
- Ballot winners buy in assigned windows, 2026-10-01 to 2026-10-05 and 2026-10-07 to 2026-10-13. General sale of all remaining tickets starts at 10:00 on 2026-10-14, which is an official face-value route open to everyone.
